Default Question about J&S safeguard and oil coolers

Like the title says, has anybody used the J&S safeguard system??? And for the oil coolers, For those who are running them, What kit are you using and are you using the perma cool thermostat with the system. Im trying to get my ducks in a row for the build up of my GSR motor for my hatch and trying to get some insight. Thanks

I highly doubt you will "need" and oil cooler. If you do end up going this route, be sure to go with a somewhat small shortest possible lines and what not because this cooler will drop your overall oil pressure when it's running.

As far as your question about the thermostat with the system. Your definatly going to want one so that its not constantly at a low pressure.

with the stock GSR oil cooler can you still use a sandwich style adaptor for oil feed/pressure?

Yes, they should work together.

If you are interested in an oil cooler, I have an OEM GSR one lying around with a brand new O-ring. All you would need is the coolant hoses and 94-95 water pipe.
