Default What ECU do i have?

Hi, was wondering if anybody knew what ECU my cars got.

Its a 1997 Civic 1.6iSR (not SiR) with a D16y8 engine.

Saves me stripping off the seat to get a look at it.

Im after the P number and OBD version, would be a massive help if anyone knows it.

Thanks alot.

Should be a P2P, I had a 97 Civic EX with a D16Y8 and I have the ECU from it and it says P2P.

Right, i've lookd it up and this in an OBD-II ecu, so for this to work with a
B16a2 all i would need is a conversion harness right? or would i have to replace the ecu itself AND get a harness?

Thanks again.

If the engine is OBD2 with an OBD2 harness you wouldn't need a conversion harness. If the engine is OBD1 you would need an OBD2 to OBD1 conversion harness if they even make those. If not then you would need to get another ECU.

you cannot use your current ecu with a b16. you need the ecu that comes with that engine.
