1997 honda civic htachback exhaust help!!!1
 

i just bought a 1997 honda civic hatchback for 650. not to bad 40,000 miles and i bought a full exhaust for it, i just got it in and im looking at it and at the end up front near the motor there is a 3 bolt flange, where does that get connected to cause the header i bought doesnt have a 3 bolt plange pattern? so i dont kno if i need a piece added or not? can anyone help me out???

the 3 bolt flange probably goes to the catalytic converter. since the d16y7 has the cat as part of the header you probably need to get a cat off a d16y8 or put a test pipe in between your new header and the b pipe for your new exhaust.
