Default Posted b16 block

Has anyone ever posted a b16 block? I have a jdm b16 with hydro clutch and I'm trying to find some pitcures of it done. I've already ordered the post and I have all the tools to do it with, what I was most concerned with was the exact placemant and how exactly someone would grind down the webbing. Any info would be appreciated.

i wouldnt mess with block posts, they look more like fulcram points for error. i would use a block gaurd, or just dont sleeve it. if ur going for high power, then sleeve it.

agreed on the sleeving. posting is a bandaid fix. even a block guard would be better. sleeves are even better.

Posting can mess up the cylinders, and not to mention you are installing undo stress points to the motor

When putting a guard on does it not usually cause the motor to overheat? And i'm only going to be running 15-20 pounds. With eagle rods, srp 9 to one compression.

hp is what breaks shit not psi. so that psi number is irrelevant without knowing the size of the turbo being used. stock sleeves can hold 500+whp. probably wont last very long but it'll hold. it's all in the tune. you can blow the engine at 200whp with a shitty tune and crappy fuel system.

with that said, what is your setup?

whats being done is being done so please help me with my original question. By the way, for right now its ebay turbo kit, 3inch exhaust, v-afc, map bypass, rc 550cc injectors, stock head, electronic boost controller, srp 9 to 1 comp pistons, eagle rods, bored to 81.5, posted block, itr oil pump, b@m regulator, six puck clutch, dyno tune after break in, and the goal is 350-400 reliable horsepower.
