clutch slipping? Replacement costs?

I left my car sitting up hill for about 2 days, and now the clutch engagment is really early, the peddle feels like it is sticking a little and is slow to return once i push it in.

would a Exedy clutch kit be all that I would need?

EXEDY Pressure Plate

EXEDY Clutch Disc
Release Bearing
Pilot Bearing

A
lignment Tool

How difficult would it be to replace? How much should I expect a shop to charge for replacing it? (im in gainesville fl)

Im in a 92 Civic HB that was swaped (several years ago) with a b16a and went from Auto to manual, so I don't know where my clutch parts came from.

So if this kit is a replacement, then do I just need one for my engine type?

How to: https://www.honda-acura.net/forums/s...d.php?t=139802

You will need the kit for the engine, not for the car.

Exedy makes a good kit and the items listed will be all that you need.

Where do you live at. Maybe I could be of some assistance.

check your clutch master and clutch slave cylinder.

the shop that was going to do mine told me 350, so i decided to do it myself. it wasnt that hard. you need some special sockets for the pressure plate but thats about it

RedlineBoyzCRX 11-04-2006 08:49 AM

If you have any decent tools, it's not really a special socket, just a 12 point 10mm socket for the clutch PP and a 17mm 12 Point socket for the flywheel bolts.

I did my first clutch with my mechanic, (mainly me doing most of the work, but I have done numerous since then.) I can do it with my eyes closed now.
