98 d16y8 rocker arm assembly ???
 
the rocker arm i been using says 2A on it. this assembly got damaged due 2 a bad cam. i have a spare rocker arm assembly also from a d16y8 but it says 1A on it. do these #s matter? can i use the 1A assembly on this motor? thanks

Sorry to post this as a reply to your post...But I have a D16Y8 engine in my 97 Honda Del Sol. Is this engine in fact VTEC?

ya its vtec and this rocker arm is for vtec it jus has a differnt # on it i dunno if that meens its a lil different.

same block and head new rocker arm assembly, old assembly has scratchs in the cam journals

Yea, It will work. It's just like taking the PR3 rocker assembly and putting it into a P30, it works just the same. All the same parts.
