i dont know if my engine will blow with a t3 greddy turbo. My friend that is putting it in says that it will be fine with it boosting about 6 to 7 pounds of boost but no more than that, is it true???

well the greddy kit uses the emanage for fuel managment, its a shitty item but it will do the job at stock boost levels. As far as the car blowing up, do a compression check and make sure its in decent shape and you should be fine. The greddy kit is hugly overated and that fact that it doesnt come with intercooler makes it subpar in my book. Id suggest if you want a bolt on kit to look into the edlebrock kit

yeah but see that is too expensive cause i just need something simple that wont blow my engine but still would respond with a little more horsepower for my car since im still in college and shit. You guys understand, i also have a good friend that recomended me the greddy turbo kit cause he found it for 1,300 brand new and he said that he could install it in about 5 hours or so and he will do it for like 15 bucks cause he has built so many but what do you guys think??

as stated above your going to want some kind of intercooler set up on it and the greddy kit doesnt come with one. Granted depending on how handy you are, you can make a intercooler kit for about 300, or you can shop around a try to find a decent premade kit
