Default Should i do it?

My buddy wants my car and i want his. I have a 99' si and he has a 93 vx hatch.

The hatch -
Flat black
vx wheels
99-00 si wheels
black interior
carbon fiber duckbill
stock motor

his car for 2500 bux.

He is buying mine for 9800 bux.

I found this 93 ex coupe that is way rough on the body(rust is about 10 all the way around the rear fender wells) but interior and motor are excellent.

here is my plan-

By both the hatch for around 2k then get that ex coupe for 1k.

Swap interior so i have power windows in the vx hatch.

Swap motors so i have the d16z6 in the hatch with a p28 ecu.

Completely strip the coupe of everything and part it out. The coupe is teal green.

The hatch was teal green.

Should i do it or not?

Love the em1, but when someone looks at your shit to give you a loan and they see a car loan already on there its that much less they will lend you. Anyway i have a son and a fast car isnt what i'm looking for anymore.

Yeah my buddy wants 2500 for his vx. I'm offering him around 2200.
The guy with the ex wants 1800 but i'm going to offer him 1000 cause he needs to sell it cause he is moving to europe so i figure if he takes 1k then i will buy it but i wont give him much more than that.

Yea you really shouldnt get a hatch if your looking to have a family beater, look into an accord that way you still have a decent car with 4 doors.

If you already have a baby hauler (I'll bet you do because you'd need something to drive during the swap) and just need transportation for yourself, I say go for it. But I'd leave the VX motor in there. I can snap a shot of the VX gauge cluster with 346,000 miles on it... oh wait... it's in my DIY. Why gut a running car?
