Default Found my stolen Civic......PICS!!!

Hi, this is my first post!
So 2 weeks ago my wife's 99 Civic got stolen from our apartment in Parker, CO. This is a nice part of town, so kind of surprising. Anyways, they found it in Aurora (not so nice part of town close to here) and it was stripped. I must say they did a pretty crappy job of stripping it. Luckily, I have Farmers insurance and they have already paid me off so I don't have to worry about fixing this. Now I have to get another car, and I'm kinda hesitant to get another Honda because there were several in the impound lot stripped just like mine. Man, I'm gonna miss this car, talk about great gas mileage and very reliable. It had new tires, the higher spoiler, a short shifter, intake, tinted glass, and a new timing belt/hoses/water pump/belts back in May. I wish I had a before pic, but sadly this is all I have. Enjoy the pics, I don't!

wtf.. they hardly took anything! I'm suprized the insurance totaled it out.

if they find cars striped around here.. theres no body pannels left, no engine / tranny / all wires are gone.. hell i've seen them take the breakes & complete suspension off!

Someone wanted to have the 99-00 civic front end conversion way bad. I would buy that thing back and put new shit on it.

This looks like it was done for collision repair. Teh airbags are gone.

They left the motor and the battery.

I'm south of Denver. Farmer's owns the car so I really have no idea on the buy back. Honestly I'm glad they do, because that car was cursed. I loved it but its been rear-ended three times and now this. You guys should have seen the impound lot. There were about 5 other Hondas sitting right next to it that had been stripped the exact same way. Very surprising how much they left on the vehicle. You'd think since they had it 2 weeks they would've had time to take a lot more.

I can definitely say I got my money's worth out of that car. It had 113,000 miles on it, and we took it on a 3,800 mile road trip back in May. With all the work I put into it though, I was ready for another 100k miles. I had just done a timing belt, valve adjust, replaced all belts and hoses, water pump, etc before our trip in May. Luckily I came out with more money from insurance than I could have sold the car for myself!
