my b16a2 wont start at the moment. battery charged and all electric works just wont start. makes cranking sound but no spark coming from the spark lead when taken out of the engine. usually i think there is a blue spark but this has no spark. what could be the problem. distributor? or main relay. ive got a d16z6 can i try the d16z6 main relay. is it the same and also try the d16z6 distributor just to see if it starts up. both engine are from a EG civic 1994. im in the uk by the way amd here d16z6 and b16a2 come in RG civics.

No spark at the wires means it's a distributor problem. The coil could be shot.

 

Something with the dizzy, prolly coil, or ur TDC sensor if ur obd0

 

check the ignitor& coil and double check your connections and ground. also does the CE go out after 2 sec. like it should ?

 

yeh ce lights goes off as usual. but no spark at the leads. can i try d16z6 dizzy on it
