d15b7 intake manifold on D16y7 ??

Default d15b7 intake manifold on D16y7 ??

I have a D16y7 now intalled with a D16y8 head it tried drowning so we intalled a D15b7 Intake manifold will it work i kno sensors dont line up need help on that please need DIY or help on what sensor goes to what

By drowning i mean it would throw CEL and it would try to drown when it is given gas

Not getting all this 'drowning' business.. :thinking:

Why would you want to put a D15B7 intake on there? The runners on that intake are tiny! I'd stick with the Y8.

Default no intake manifold

Well the D16y8 had no intake manifold only head thats it had to put my y7 intake manifold the drowning is that i did the Mini me swap and everything car started it would idle weird but my friend got the idle to be normal but now when u give it gas all it does is try to drown i need HELP lol need the car running making a Trip very FAR

First off, if you have a long trip to make, I'd never do an 'upgrade' like this just before. There are too many things that can go wrong that you won't know about till you're in the middle of nowhere. But, that's moot since you've already done it...

By drown do you mean that it is running very rich? Explain drowning, please...

thanks for the heads up but by drowning i mean like we give it gas and it trys to die out like if i gave it alittle bit it would rev then when we give it more it tries dying another thing is when we started messing with it it started dying in when we gave it alittle bit of gas and it would start bogging and trying to shut off
