Basicly, i have plans on converting to a manual transmission and a B18c soon after...... however, because I have to pay for my school, those plans have to be put on hold. I do want to get some more kick out of my car if i could, especialy in the low-range RPMs. Would a vtec controller be a good temporary solution ?? I dont know much about them, so any info/suggestions you guys could give me would be a tremendous help. Thanks

 

No. By the time you would need a vtec controller you wont need one because when tuned it can be programmed to any rpm you would like.

Heres my 2 cents, i have a b16 which once had a H-I-E and when i got it tuned with the VAFC i gained 6 whp, so I dont have a clue what it will do for you but thats what one did for me.
