I can't get my injectors back in my fuel rail.

Sounds cheesy, huh? I took it off and scrubbed it down to get some of the grime off and cleaned the holes with come carb cleaner then rinsed it out. I can't get my injectors back in, they came out pretty easily. Should I use some sort of lube on them?

petroleum jelly, or the o-rings may not have been for fuel and they swelled

Just dip your finger in motor oil and smear it on there a bit, just like you'd do with the seal on an oil filter.

I did the oil thing because I have no petroleum jelly. Thanks a lot guys. Slid right in.

That's the way I always do it. The first time I replaced injector O-rings, I did it dry and tore two of the four.

Since then, I've used motor oil to lube and life has been easy.
