Default Best engine for 05 civic

Hey, I have an 05 Civic coupe DX. I was wondering what engine would be best for an engine swap? Thanks everyone.

quad turbo mazda 4-rotor running on alcohol with a ford rear end
or
1.3L geo metro engine

i guess it depends on what your version of 'best' is? power? revs? reliabilty? milage? center of gravity? torque curve? uniqueness? budget? down time?

The question was broad, but not THAT broad. I think the question may have been asked with a sense of sensibility & compatibility. With that said, what would be the low/high end of a motor swap in an 05 Civic? What's the EX/SI got in that generation?

Default money no problem

Money is no problem, I am looking for an engine that would fit best in the civic DX bay and have the most hp and torque for the buck

Well, if you put it like that, hang-out here for a few days. I'm sure you'll get some good replies.
