Default Good or bad...

Oil filter relocator kit (by Greddy). I was changing my oil earlier today and it was a bitch to remove the oil filter. I was thinking of getting a relocator kit but wanted to know if there were advantages/disadvantages to doing this.

Any USEFUL input would be greatly appreciated. Thanks.

hondas are one of the easiest to remove and get to. if its on too tight.. dont tighten it so much next time. if its hard to get to...well.. its not. but i guess relocator kits are pretty cool. depending on how far the lines are.. you get to add that much more oil. only advantage is making it easier to get to. disadvantages could be that it is less protected depending on where the kits relocates it to. i had one on my tacoma...

I don't know how you guys get the wrench to turn. To me, it's like the tightest damn spot in the engine. Another reason why I'd get the kit is because you can also easily add a oil pressure gauge and what not... Problem is WHERE to relocate it. :dunno:

waste of money. just get the girl out of you and twist that ***** off. get one of the oil filter wrench socket thinga majiggies that goes on a 3/8 drive rachet. I have changed my oil a hundred times and never had a problem. Now My 97' GXE is a different story because the oil filter is very small so no wrench that I have found will fit snug. But a screw driver through the oil filter works just fine.
