10 gallons for 180 miles?

Okay, one of my friend just bought a 96 civic cx. as the title said, what is wrong with the car? I have changed the fuel filter and spark plug and have a store to do a tune up as well. What is possibly causing the problems? I am thinking of the sensors? Any ideas.

So you're saying on a full tank your only getting 180 miles?

Do you have the stock motor and tranny in your cx, or do you have a swap? There's a few things that could be wrong that I will get into once you answer those questions.

..hrm. so thats what 44 litres for.... 220 KM? That is not too bad actually, it is mostly town driving, and depending on your driving style (Wild with Pride, or Mr.Full Throttle, you could even see less. Try to use a different gas, some gas's have additives to give optimum distance per tank of gas.

Omg he is nuts. You should see his other statements in other threads...he makes absolutely no sense. 18mpg in a cx is absolutely horrible!

EDIT: Especially w/ that stock little 1.5L

jdmeg6hatchy 11-24-2005 07:34 PM
