I have a 95 civic ex and want to boost horsepower without having to take out a loan. Are the revchip performance chips that are available for 24.95 any good for what im looking for?

And I'm not going to generalize by saying "JDM" coilovers are good. That's like asking if American coilovers are good.

 

Every car is different and no one "performance chip" is going to be good for performance. With the advanced timing it throws on, you'll more than likely get a little better throttle response and worse gas mileage. With fuel prices these days, sacrificing mileage for 1HP (.5WHP) isn't worth squat.

 

I dont understand you guys and these questions "are JDM coilovers good?" THERE IS NO SUCH THING. It's exactly like asking if American Coilovers are good (stated above) Ground Control Coilovers would be your best bet, stay away from the ebay shit brands.
Performance chips do shit for your car, and can ruin them.
