Trouble with choosing a ecu

I have a D15B head. That I am putting on my 99dx h/b, for a mini me. I heard a P28 will work. I also head I should get a P06. What is the better ecu for the project?

P06 is non VTEC if I'm correct because that's what USDM d15b7's use.

Yes, you are correct, the P06 ECU is non-vtec. Your best option would be a P28, or you could just get the p06 and convert.
