Probably your coil/ignitor. Need more info.

the engine has never been started before. I swapped the H22 into my 95 civic. This was the first time i ever tried to start it. I dont have a code reader so I cant check to see if it throws any codes. How do i check to see if the coil/ignitor/distributer are gone?

Cranking it and seeing if any spark comes from the plug wires, also you might just have your firing order wrong. I swapped my engine in and it took me a whole day to figure out i had the plugs in the wrong order.

I never had an h22, I wish I did now that I know more about engines. But either way, if it was external or internal, if there's no spark it's the coil.
