98 Civic DX: Remote Key Question
 

I share a 98 Civic EX Coupe with another driver. She did something with her door lock remote that rendered both her remote and mine non-operational. They do not lock or unlock the doors. I followed the instructions that I found in the Integra forum for resetting remotes, but it didn't work. Any idea how I can reprogram the two remotes so they lock and unlock the doors again? Thanks.

on your civic 96-98 you need the factory radio for the keyless remotes to work as it's built into the radio . to program turn the key to the on (2) position push on the bar (hidden button) between the tape/cd and a/m/fm om the rught of the radio when the doorlocks cycle your in programing mode! hit the lock button on your remote and the locks should cycle
