Default need suggestions for catback system

ok, first of all, I'm not concerned with performance. I drive a freaking LX

but that dinky ass tailpipe has to go. It looks way out of place.

But I'm kinda on a budget, and since I don't think I need one of those $500+ systems, what a good one to get?

theres a local shop here that suggested the Reactive catback for $270 + install, but I dunno on how that would sound. I don't want a raspy tone.

any other suggestions in a decent price range?

also, theres a Tenzo R one I was looking at for $375. But I think the only reason I'd get that is because it matches my intake.

hey, when you get that car hooked up, you definitely have to post pics. I've never seen a sedan in that color with anything done to it. All the ones I've ever seen (which is a lot b/c they're very common around here) are totally stock. I'm curious what it would look like.

yeah, I saw those (pacesetters) on NopiOnline.

one look at the price ($160) and I knew not to get it.

I refuse to spend less than $200. Theres a better chance of it sounding like crap, then.

Custom.

Price, I dunno, my buddies girlfriend's dad owns a muffler shop. When I had my Integra he put 2.25 mandrel bent piping to an OBX muffler. (full cat back) Sound great, nice and deep, performance? Ehhh....what do you expect from an exhaust. I did feel a LITTLE extra in the highend but for $150 (I bought the muffler off eBay for $70) it was a deal.

Without hookups, the same setup should cost around $300. That's what MoFo would do.

well, I was thinking custom, but that usually requires welding, and welding = $$$$$$

if I got a full catback system, I could just bolt it on myself, no problem. Or some shop could do it, and instead of spending $100+ for install, its only $40-$50

Of course a catback from DC, or APEXi or GReddy are simple to bolton, but custom really isn't that expensive.

For mandrel bending, most shops just buy a lot of pipe and then cut and weld them to fit your car. I wouldn't spend more than $350 for a custom.

It's just $500 for a freakin exhaust is too much IMHO.
