Default o2 sensor relocation??? 92 hatch w/b18b

can i relocate my o2 sensor from my 1992 civic dx hatch back into the down pipe of a JDM b18b motor? can i just extend the wiring??? Thanks

Yes, you can extend the 4 wires to the O2 sensor. I'd recommend even putting some wire loom over it.

where can i get the wire loom? will that keep the wires protected from heat???

You can get it at eny electronic store like Radio shack, Fry's, Best Buy, Circuit city, etc. It's the stuff they use to help organize wires. Honda usually uses the coiled looking black ones, then wrap parts of it with electrical tape. You can use hi-grade wire that specifies resistant to "some" heat if you like as well. When I got my DC header, it came with the perfect length of O2 extension, so I didn't have to worry about it hitting anything hot and melting.
