I need to change out the old E.S. bushings that I put in previously for some new ones cause there worn. The problem is is that when I worked on the first lower control arm, I got every bolt off but that one bolt that goes throught the control arm into the cross-member would not come out. It just kept spinning. What do you think can be the problem and what should I do. I ain't trying to swap out no cross-member.

 

that bolt is the hardest one to line up, I usually use a scissor jack for that.

Did u strip it when u put the LCA in last time??? that is what its sounds like happen.

 

that bolt is hard as fuck!!!! i used a jack and a ball joint breaker to get it off, along with some liquid wrench

 

it keeps spinning because its not grabbing, the bolt itself is pointed at the tip with no threads, it only grabs if it is perfectly lined up. Like I said in my frst post use a scissor jack.

 

hes talking about taking it out, not putting it in.

it might be stripped. try hitting it with a hammer or wrench from the other side and turning it at the same time.

 

You can't hit it from the other side because the other side is in the crossmember.

 

last time I tried to take it out I had to use a flat head and pry it while I turned it.
