Default help reading codes

Hello, I'm working on my daughters civic EX 95' and I jumped out the test harness and got the check engine light to blink 3 long and 1 short with car running. normally the light stays on. My chiltons book reslly dosn't explain what these mean. it also says there is an led on the ecm but there isn't so I guess I have only the check eng light to go by. anyone know how to reag these codes?, Thanks Joe
