If anyone with some Real Smarts about how to mod cars... Not just For Show-- then hit me up... I've got a an 02 Civic Lx 4dr that I bought and am Paying for :p - FYI - so help me out people...:cool:


P.S. I'm thinking baby blue and silver... anyone gone to an auto upholstery place? I've seen some great things done to sum interiors... i want some ideas and good sources to use.

What exactly "not for show" help do you need? What are your plans?

sorry, didnt mean to piss anyone off. theres nothin better between either one, i just like 2 doors better because i have one. but on the constructive side, my friend has a black 4 door dx and hes got coilovers and exhaust, and its pretty nice. so those would be the first 2 things id do. or rims

Well, if you are looking for go and not show, I wouldn't waste money on the basic bolt ons (I/H/E) on that 1.7L non vtec. It puts out 115hp and with I/H/E you would get a max of around 125hp (still less than an EX at 127hp). Maybe save the money for a swap? There have been people who finally swapped in a K20 into the 7th gen civic. It's not an easy (or cheap) job, but can be done and mounting kits might be released soon.

Is it a manual or an auto? If it is manual you can look into small shots of nitrous or a turbo at low boost. You could still go nitrous or turbo if you have an auto, but I doubt that tranny would last long. Honda's auto tranny's weren't meant to handle much more power.
