Default idle??

when i start my d16 up the tach jumps to 1k an slowly clims to about 1600 an then slowly drops to around 800-1k.. is there anything wrong with this?? im a n00b, j/w..

o2 sensor ,fuel injctors ,fuel filter possibly one of them

nothnig serious. my car idles @ 0ver 2,000... until it warms up. then it drops to 500-800. that's because of my throttle body though.

It only does this at start up then stays at 800-1000??? If so this is normal, it is the car warming up the engine. I have owned 4 Civic's and have ranged from straight off the showroom to turbo-charged B20 and they all have done it.
