How do i remove my vents ect. so I can paint them.

you dont, you leave them alone and avoid doing something youll regret and have a hell of a time undoing

The vents on the outsides just pop out like everything else in your dash.

It'll hold up just fine if you use the right paint. Just make sure you like the colour. I used this stuff (link below) 2 years ago on my dash etc. and it's held up perfectly fine. The stuff is quite durable....

As for getting your vents out (the side ones) just use a small flat head screwdriver a cloth and GENTLY and slowly pry them out... they should come out with no problems.

i would not do it. Take a poll and ask if you should paint your vents. take it from people who have done it. 95 percent will say its not worth it.

I did it and it started to crack and peel. Looked like crap. Plus all the sliders and dials get stuck because now the paint added a little thickness.

My friend tried this on his Ranger. It chipped from just about anything. So he then dyed them and there amazing.

dont do it. i bought a car with it already done. tobad he had it done at a paint shop. i cant get the crap off with acetone. doh. anyone know anything else that will take it off? thanx
