Default rebuilding an older car

hey im new to this stuff so i have a simple question to ask, me and my sister's boyfriend are thinking about getting an older civic/integra/prelude (1 of the 3) and doing an engine swap, new tires, rims, and all the other accessories needed. What im wanting to know is that, is this just like building a new car, or should i still expect problems with the car since it is so old.

i would go with the civics over the teg, possibly a 93 del sol, or if you are looking for older, a crx

body and frame damge will be your main concern. the less there is of it (rust/ dents and dings in the body or problems with the frame) the less time it will take to get the car looking right and the more money and time can be spent where it counts

body and frame damage is an agreeable consideration, simply pick the best body and work with that one, totally, BTW. dont knock the teg, i miss mine. hehe.
