um, this my be bad
Need some help,
So I'm driving downtown Charleston SC and come to a three way stop. I go to turn right and i come to a abrupt stop,
feeling like i just hit the curb dead on, trust me, it didn't feel good. I pull forward and park the car and get out to access the situation.
I look back and see that i hit a man hole. The asphalt around the whole was sunk in and with car being lowered with coilovers it hit the left side of the crossmember in the front of the car. After looking under the car to find out that i bent the hell out the the cross member i look to my delight that the front left wheel is now planted itself in to the front fender.
still driveable kinda i drive it home white knuckling it whole way with the car trying to jerk madly from side to side. My Q is, can i just take the front crossmember of and replace it with a new one to solve the wheel issue or will i have to do subframe work to get it back to normal, It didn't look like i tweaked anything hard besides the C/M itself helping push the wheel back. And another thing, where am i going to find another cross member?? Please help as i need to get this thing road worthy soon! thanks for any help.

I would take it to an alignment shop and see what they say. If they can fix it, great. But you may require some new suspension components because it sounded like you bent some.
