Default Wheel Offset?

I want to upgrade my stock wheels on my 93 DX Hatchback (185/70/13's) to 205/50/15's on 15x7 wheels, and I was just wondering of any rubbing issues and what offset I should have? (It's at stock ride height) Or better suggestions? Thanks, any info would be great.

40-42 I'm guessing. Everyone I know usues 195/xx/xx tires. I think you can use 205, see what other people on here say.

205-50-15 is what i am useing right now. On your car even if it was a 17, i would only use a 40mm offset.

with a 15x7" rim you should get a 42-44mm offset if you can. I have 15x7" Kosei K1s with 45mm offset and on 96+ models the inner wheel lip can rub the rear lower control arm, which sounds NASTY!

I have 15x7" Enkei RPF1s with 41mm offset and that's perfect.

I have 205/50/15's on a 15x6.5" with a 40mm offset and I rub on the outside of the tire without messing with camber.

the rims im looking to get in 3 weeks (mans gotta eat) are enkei evo 5's. they have a 42mm offset. im thinking its gonna look pretty tight with the omni street full coil kit and front and rear camber kit. anyone have these rims and know what the offset might look like? or anyone with the same offset but different rims?
