Can't find A/C mount bolts.
 

I've searched this forum and the DIY forum. I couldn't find anything on how to do it. I also googled it. this is the last thing preventing me from popping my shabby 1.5 out. I took off some other bolts by accident and refridgerant started comming out. I was thinking of pulling out the whole A/C now because I'm going to be boosting this fall. Could someone tell me how to do either or?

There are 4 bolts that hold the compressor to the mount and four that hold the mount to the engine. :edit: that didn't really make sense... my compressor was already gone when I swapped and it was a sinch... :dunno:

Did all the freon come out? If not your going to have to have the system discharged and if you want to keep your a/c just use it on your new motor.

No, not all of it came out, as soon as I saw some come out, I put the bolts back on. I just can't find the freakin' bolts. WCS said there was 4 12mm's. But I can't find em.

I'll take pics. It's really pretty obvious imo. :dunno:

When I see the picks, I'll prolly smack my forehead in stupidity when I see where they are. I can completely dissmount and engine, except the A/C :confused: . Also, thanks.

Lol, I couldn't see them because there was so much build it. Anyway, my A/C no longer works I think. White shit comes through the vents when I turn it on. I want to just remove it. I ubolted the mount, now do I just disconnect the two hoses at the fire wall to remove it?

Ya, but be EXTREMELY careful. It's technically illegal for you to purge the system by yourself. You are supposed to have an authorized mechanic purge that system. It is extremely cold stuff and it can 'burn' you if it gets on your skin. Be really careful man. ;)
