valve retainers
hey guys, this question isnt for a honda motor, but it is for general engine part, and you guys always answer so quickly....
my friend is replacing the valve springs on his MR2 motor, does anyone know how to remove the retainers, so you can change the valve springs?

you need to have a valve spring compressor.

when it compresses the spring, you can take the retainers out.

yea. it's pretty much like compressing a spring, to take the shock/stut out.
