I have a 96 Honda Civic and want to install a sony explod system...Ive never installed a deck for a honda civic and it looks hard...is it? Ive done it on the corolla (yr:90) before and it was pretty easy but im guessing this will be harder...should i pay someone to get it done??? It will be 50.00 to do the job..what do the experts (you) think?

I did mine and it was a piece of cake. I was surprised at how simple the install is. If you have the seperate cd player down by the cup holder, its kind of a pain to take out, but thats probably the hardest part.

it should re relatively the same way for the 96 as all civics. I just installed mine in my 93 and all i had to do was take out 2 screws at the bottom where the cigarette lighter is and take the stereo out.
