Koni Red's
I just received these today, and I was wondering if anyone knew how they adjusted from the factory. They're internally adjustable, unlike the "yellows," but if the settings from the factory are already pretty good then I would rather not mess with a good thing. BTW, I'm just looking for a good ride for daily driving nothing too stiff or extreme. Any help is appreciated. Thanks

The shocks should come with instructions on how to adjust them. I believe it is a twist in either direction.
Factory settings should be fine for a comfortable ride. What spings are you using? |
Neuspeed race...that have been riding on stock shocks for about 4 years. Surprisingly the shocks have held up real well and there is no leakage or other signs of them being blown. The instructions that came with the konis all look like comics, no words, just funny looking diagrams. So, if I don't have to I'd like to leave the settings the way they are cause I don't wanna mess things up.

Factory settings on mine [full soft] was perfect for normal daily driving. I'd figure it'd be the same for the Koni Reds...unless they are set on a stiffer setting. |
Thanks for the quick reply doood! One more question though...is there any way I could tell how stiff or soft they're set by compressing the shock under my own strength or something else?

Not really, unless you're an Autobot or something :p :p Or you can adjust them and compress them with your own strength, but you still wont know how it feels until it is on the car itself. |
Alright, I think I'll just throw them on the car the way they are now, keep my fingers crossed, and hope for the best! As always, thanks for the quick replies doood

I don't know wtf is up with koni. With all the obvious time and money spent developing really nice shocks, you'd think they could afford to actually write and print DIRECTIONS:rolleyes: . Their directions are a joke.
