Default need help with d16 question!!!

i have a 98 ex motor swapped into a 97 hatch but the rings are goin quick
i have access to a dohc d16. if i rebuild that short block and use my y8 head will that work. if it does is the wiring different. i am already running obd1 with a converison harness and p28 ecu

i need help asap

I heard you can run a D16 DOHC with a B18 valve cover and a LS ecu.
But you wont see any gains until you pop the hood...

Wait u wanna put a SOHC head on a DOHC block? Im lost...if so then no...ure asking for a hassle...not that it has been done *F22 + H22 *

you can put any b16 head on any b series block so why wouldnt a y8 head fit of a d16 block

The dohc d series (aka zc or D16a1) is different than other d series the DOHC head will not fit the SOHC block or vice versa.
