Default Problem with something?

Ok I am not really sure what the problem is here..........first of all I live in Wisconsin and it is getting rather nippy outside and the Civic sits outside all night long. When I go out around noonish to go to lunch and go to the office, the car turns on fine and then I put it in reverse and start to back up.........however, it feels like my civic is trying to roll over a log or something, like there is something in the way.........and then the car stalls and dies.........I fire it back up, put it in reverse, no problem at all. This has happened the last 2 mornings. It only does it in the morning though, last night when I was leaving work it didn't do it, and when I left my GF's house it didn't do it.........then this morning when I was going to fedex it did it again Anyone have any insights?

lol, let it warm up man. Honda's usually don't run to great until they warm up a bit, not to mention that 90%+ of normal engine wear occurs during cold starts

Reverse is jacked on Civics. Try putting it in second, then in reverse. Sometimes it doesn't go all the way into reverse on the first try, unless you double clutch or put it in second. Wierdness.

Agreed my present civic does this also my last 3 too. When cold mostly and like he says only in reverse, however i somehow dont think this is your prob, i think maybe other guys sayin engine too cold could be the problem
