Universal seat rails/seat swaps Q's
 

anyone know where i can get some universial seat rails/mounting kits. has anyone done a Jetta seat swap or any other brand of seats to a 5th gen civic coupe. any input is welcomed. thanks !!

people swap in teg seats or sol seats all the time...

Swapping in some jetta seats sounds a little more difficult than swapping teggy or sol seats. I have a set of del sol seats and I love them. Just use your existing rails and swap them on to the new seats.

thanks for the replies, i know teg and delsol seats can easily swap with the 5th gen, but i can get a pretty good deal on the jetta seats. just wanted to know what kind of modification will be needed to get them to fit. later

Well you could always rig it ghetto fabulous via the home depot route. But I doubt you'd want to do that to your already clean ride.

Why would you want Jetta seats? My friend has a VR6, I swear my Civic feels roomier... on this topic, I am planing to put in 2003 Si seats in my 92 Sedan, is it do-able? (with the stock brackets)

I really don't care what kinda of seats i get. I just really want some comfortable leather seats.
