I was looking at Majestic Honda's site.

They priced it at $8356.40 for the whole assembly. That's craziness.

His point is it costs $8356.40. I just found out my stock suspension is leaking and needs to be replaced. If I didn't want to go aftermarket, it would cost $8356.40 to replace it. Frickin expensive.

 

or post a wanted ad in the classified section and about a thousand civic owners r more then happy to sell u their stock suspension for dirt cheap.

 

Or go to a genaric parts store and walk out with a set of brand new shocks/struts for like $200.

 

My point is, I could go buy another civic for that kind of money instead of a complete stock suspension set for only one side. ;o

I think they print an outragously high price because they don't want sell a spring/strut assembly. They would have to get all the parts, then assemble it, then ship it to you. I believe they want to stay a parts only buisness, not an assembly place.
