A'pexi N1 Muffler and Lowering
What's a good amount to lower a 92 Civic DX from stock height to with an A`pexi N1 Catback system + muffler? I want to lower the car somewhat for handling, but don't want the muffler to drag on ever pothole or inclination.
|
Ehhh chances are you will hit the muffler no matter what at times. I have a stock setup with a greddy evo and I hit maybe once a month. So............
|
Any recommendations then on how much to lower from stock?
Hoping someone who actually owns the system will be able to provide some advice that has been in practice. |
Well both my cusins have 97 hatch. They have 2 inch drops and there ok. But like I said b4 your going to hit once and a while.
|
i got a 95 cx hatch with the apex'i n1 lowered on eibach prokit and kyb agx and i have yet to hit once. a little word of advice, the N1 is loud as hell...i'm in the process of ditching mine for a thermal r&d.

I would go for the Neuspeed for sports its a 1.75" drop and its looks good. Or just get some Good Coilovers Skunk 2 or ground control and Adjust it to the hight you want
|
I lowered mine about 2.25" and I think that was the limit. I would scrape my N1 on some speed bumps and inclines.
|
n1's scrape on almost everything but the roads are shit in PA and most of the people i know with them have their cars crushed
i would recomend nuespeed race springs, they are the perfect drop and ride quality and you should be able to get away with it, i do with my RS-R https://www.honda-acura.net/forums/a...chmentid=33390 |
where did you buy your rs*r I'm curious cuz the web site my friend bought his from no longer sells them.
