Default Front and Rear Rebar

I have never heard of a rebar until I stumbled on them last night.

Is there some kind of benefit to these such as more strength and lighter weight and do they replace the front and back bumper completely?

Probably a lot stiffer/lighter than OEM supports.

I'd be kinda :ugh: about those in a crash though.
