HELP!!!leaking!!
Sup,
Keep in mind I removed my carpet before all this.
Well this morning I opened my car door and in the passenger side and driver side I see puddles of water! I checked the door seals, but am totally lost. I know there are a million of possibilities but if anyone has any ideas let me know..Can it also be that my vents are clogged?

my door weather stripping looked fine to me, so i went through a car wash... i ended up going home and getting a new shirt and a couple of towels for the interior... lets just leave it at that. weather stripping is not expensive, make sure when you change it that you get some kind of degreaseer to get anykind of oily residue from the door sill, next time its hot out the weather stripping with KINDA mold to your door sill in lack of a better word. so it will get a good seal everytime
But the water was found on the floor boards. Someone told me that they had this very same problem and it was cause by the windshield cowl. I guess the water comes down from the windshield down the firewall and into my car. I am going to the junk yard friday hopefully be able to pick that up...thanks for the replys
there was acutally a recall on this, when they built the car there's a place that didnt have enough scealant and it owuld leak
http://auto.consumerguide.com/auto/u...ex.cfm/id/2049
Water leak: There may be water leaking into the passenger footwell because of insufficient sealer on the seam at the firewall. Look for rust on the floor pan and run water over the right lower corner of the windshield to watch for water leaks before buying the car. (1992-95)
sorry cant find the recall bulletin
they only mention the passenger side here
but both sides can do it
