if you pay for my air fair ill definately go across the country to install your short shifter, just gimmie somewhere to stay and food its really easy to do a shifter. there are 2 bolts on the bottom of the linkage(yes you need to go under the car) and a bolt on the linkage going to the tranny. take those off and its just straight foward from there. just remember to grease up the ball before you put the shifter in.

it really is easy as hell, I just did mine and never done it before. 2 bolts holding the socket on and 1 holding the shifter to a rod going to the tranny. remove those 3 and it will drop out. should take like 20min to do

you can get an exploded digram in any of those books you see at the car parts store. but why not save yourself money and try it. it never hurts to learn something, and like evryone else said its pretty hard to screw up.

good luck

The 2 screws holding the linkage are 12mm. I also think the one holding the shifter is 12mm as well.
