hey, just wondering if u guys know what's the engine of my car, its a 2004 civic 2.0 i-vtec. it has a max power of 155 @ 6500 rpm and max torque is 18 kg-m/5000. its a water cooled 16 valve type engine. my friends said that it is a K20A engine while the others said it is just the same engine of a 04 crv. now, i know the old crv's have b20 engines while they say that the new ones, the 04's, have k24??? theres one thing i'm sure of and that is my civic has the same engine with the 04 crv's. so pls, can someone tell me what's my engine? edit: below is the pic of my engine.

why did you say its a K20A? oh, by the way here's a pic of my engine.

 

The Si has a K20A3, Type R is K20A2

 

hey . get a k24 type r head and put it on your car. watch it transform in the hulk version of the civic heehe

 

There is no such thing in the K24A engines. I think you ment K20A Type R.

 

and then put that head on a k24 block

better yet, get a car with a bigger engine bay, and grab up an MDX block and a CL-S head :drool:

 

i thought the k24 was the tsx motor??????????????
