Default B16A j1 ques

OK

I have a 1st gen B16a with a cable type J1. I want to know if an LSD from a EK9 civic type R is compatible with this tranny. Also (Im so not a tranny guy) what is involved with this installation if it is possible?

Thanks

David

The tranny will bolt up and everything. Only issue you will have is that the EK tranny is Hydrolic. I know they make hydro to cable conversion kits. But Im not sure if they do it the other way around.

the LSD will not work with a cable tranny from my understanding. You either need the one from the gen one LSD or you need to go aftermarket.
