Default 96-99 Front End Conversion Part List

just a quik question....I got a 97 Civic Coupe and am in the process of doing a front end conversion to the 99 model....is there anything I need for the conversion besides the hood, fenders, headlights, bumper, and grill?....with all those parts I beleive its just a bolt up process but am not sure any comments?....ive also heard something about having to switch out the radiator support but others say thats not necessary...thanks for any help

all you need to do is remove a bit of metal....

do a search, I know one of these threads has some pics of what part of the metal needs to be removed... actually, those pics arn't on that thread anymore, I just looked....

switching out the rad support isn't easy at all, unless you can weld.

here's some help:
Heres the easiest way to fit the 99-00 on your 96-98 radiator support. Cut the tabs on the 99-00 bumper around the grill. They wont fit the radiator support. I cut those tabs off mine and the bumper fits fine. Its held on by the plastic clips on top of the grill and those screws in each fender. The tabs are behind the bumper so you can't even tell it was cut.



The tabs have those circles on them.




What needs to be trimmed off.

not to go off topic, but anyone in nor cal got their oem 96-98 front bumper? holler if you do.

A search is all u needed to do as this has been done many times,should be tons of info on it!
