i was going to buy a set but was told that 90% of the time they don't fit right and leave gaps.

is this true?

 

very rarely will they fit correctly. If they are fiberglass you can forget it they will fit like crap most likely and will need significant modifications to fit right. Oh yea be prepared to be flamed because most people on this board think that anything showy and not performance oriented is worthless

My buddys got a set on his civic, they are the metal fenders. Not sure how much modification was done to get them to fit correctly because the bodyshop put them on

 

Fitment is hit or miss... Don't know if you want to take a chance.

I got mine and they took quite a bit of fiberglass work to get to fit right. And forget all the clows who call it rice. If its what you like... then do it. People can call my car rice all they want because I have z3 fenders but the fact of the matter is that I can smoke a very large percentage of them.

 

Do yourself (and all of us) a favor and just leave your stock fenders on
