Default Seat installation

Anyway I got a really nice deal on a koyo radiator and a set of sparco speed seats yesterday, Anyway they dont come with hardware or rails, so was wondering what I need to buy from Sparco in order to mount them. I tried contacting them and they suck basically. Anyway thanks.

You need the rails/sliders that fit those seats and brackets (most common made by Wedge)

i recently put a sparco sprint seat in my hatch and i ordered my rails from a shop in oakland called conversion techniques, and my bracket from www.machiii.net in san francisco. on a sidenote the nuts and bolts r sold seperately, sparco calls it the hardware kit. pretty ghey if u ask me.

the company that makes the brackets for sparco seats, called Wedge imo makes shitty brackets, some of my friends that have em, always had tomodified the bracket for the last hole. when i ordered mines from mach3, they told me wedge doesnt make it anymore, sparco does, and when i recieved it, it bolt in my car like stock. good stuff.

just curious, but are you running harnesses? And if so a harness bar? I plan on running both , just because I wouldnt use harnesses without the bar, but I was wondering how much harder it made the backseat to get to on a 2dr coupe

That's strange. I know of a few people that run the Wedge brackets, no problems. When I installed mine, all went well without modification.

I am glad the Recaro's came with the bolts, and TONS of them, otherwise, that WOULD be pretty ghetto.

yeah strange is right. my friend with SRDs with m3 wedge brackets, had to be modifield, another friend with 00 celica with SRDs with wedge brackets, had to bend one corner down real hard to get it on correctly, and another guy i know with a 99 prelude with SRDs with wedge brackets, left the 4th hole unbolted cuz it was a pain the in ass to fix.

im glad mines went in like stock and boy do i love the low seating position.
as for the bolts, its good to have friends that have the SRDs, cuz lots of leftover bolts for me to use and none i have to purchase.

alphaxxn, as for the harnesses, no im not running one. im only runnin one seat and that is mines, stock belt is fine, only way ill run a harness if i get a 4 point rollbar. i have the sparco catalog and in the pic, the harness bar would make it a b1tch for rear passengers to get in.

Yeah, from the picture I saw they would have to duck it, and that would suck...

I am still considering it though, because I hate hauling people and its a nice excuse, and plus I rarely do anyway.
