Default SRS system??

ok....i know you all are thinking it's probably not the best idea to remove the airbags from a car, but i was just wondering how to do it, and if it's a pain....i am going to be getting racing harnesses, seats, and a roll cage....i have seen airbags do more harm then good and i'd rather not have them....can anyone help me out?

whatever you do, be sure you disconnect the sensors/relays, and whatever else is in between the control module and the actual airbags themselves. You don't want them deploying on you by accident.

I pulled my SRS main fuse. Pretty soon, I'll get a new steering wheel and the pass. airbag block-off tray....

the brain box for it is under the heater core. Basically any yellow wiring in the car is srs related. There should be one plug going to the fuse box. Also one running up the steering column. There is a disarm jumper in the back of the steering wheel. Also, the actuators are in the foot well, under the carpet... basically, read the manual, and you'll find all the shit.

once you take out all of the wiring, there is nothing to tell the light to light up...
Inspection? Not sure. Don't have em here. If it's just a visual, throw your stock wheel on when you need to go. The light won't be on, cause there's nothing to power it....

IM pretty sure there is a dummy plug you want to plug into under your steering wheel so ur airbags dont deploy but I drive a 96 del sol so it could be different. Def unhook the battery before you do anything and maybe if you do a good job you can sell it on ebay. AS far as inspection I think that varies state by state. IM lucky cause I live in a state that just got rid of inspections. BUT they passed a law with obdii saying you can only replace the engine with the same year or newer. like anyone would know.
I hate my D16Y7. arggggggggggggg
