Greddy Turbo Manifold / Turbo Q's
Hey guys, I just found a local hook-up on a used Greddy manifold and downpipe for my D series (from the 15G kit I believe)... problem is the turbo is shot. Does anyone know if any other turbo will fit in there? He said the flange might be the same as a 300zx TT turbo... that just sounds strange. If not, I'll just stick with a 15G, I only want to run ~5 psi. 140k mi, and I need it to hold another 2 years at least.
As far as fuel management is concerned, should I be ok just running an FMU at 5 psi? If so, what ratio would be good? 12:1, 8:1? Last thing about intercoolers: They say running without an I/C increases chance of detonation - is this an issue at 5 psi? |
COuld just have the turbo rebuilt.

from my research, nothing really fits the greddy manifold unles you make some sort of adapter plate...
you can get the 15g rebuilt, but would cost you a couple hundred... running without an intercooler is possible at 5 psi but getting one is highly reccomended. |
Hmm, another question: I've seen the turbo for the Greddy kit mentioned as TD04-15G ... will the TD04 off of say, a 3000GT or stealth bolt up? Sounds like the same turbo to me.

anything will work with the right fabrication.

If my memory serves me correctly over on turbod16 they said that it can be mated up to a new t25.
