Upper control, shock, spring Q's

92 Civic stock d15b7 stick
Work car - drive about 30,000 miles a year- highway and rough Buffalo city.

I need new upper control arms (ball joints)- found ones at BMA for about 50 each, any where else I should look?

Any experience with KYB gr2 shocks-I like the OEM feel and KYB's are 57 each -any good? Bilst, Koni, AGX and stock OEM are about double-should I pay the price now?( I don't want to do this every year)

H&R OEM sport about 155 set-only lowers about a half inch -will they last.

not sure about your other questions, but as far as the springs go, they last. Even crappy brands last. Its hard to screw up a spring :p

however, half an inch isn't much of a drop. Tein S-techs or something similar (1.7" drop) give a nice profile, minimal wheel gap, and still give you a good amount of clearence. And you can get those Tein's (they're quality) for about $125 on ebay.

I've heard some brand of springs sag fairly early, but I can't remember what company. It was a well known one though.

I live just outside Buffalo in Lockport, and I've got Tokico blue shocks and springs Front and Rear. They're a little bit stiffer, but the handling is worth it. I think I got the whole set for like 350.00, shipped. Make sure you get an alignment done after install.
